From Mountain View, CA- SABRINA KWONG
My art often begins with a moment—a fleeting memory of an action that prompts me to transform observation into artistic expression, sharing what's alive within me. Drawing inspiration from nature's subtleties, the quiet poetry of still life, and the emotive power of expressionism and impressionism, I work across a diverse range of mediums. My pieces explore the interplay between movement and stillness, inviting viewers to meditate and wonder.
As a multimedia artist, I craft paintings and installations that serve as pathways into the subconscious, evoking shared experiences and inviting introspection. Through my art, I aim to spark conversations, celebrate our collective memories, and forge meaningful connections. Each work becomes a bridge, linking the personal and universal, the observed and the imagined.
In the dance between color, form, and emotion, I strive to create spaces where viewers can find echoes of their own experiences, fostering a sense of shared humanity. My art is an ongoing dialogue—with nature, with history, with the viewer—always seeking to unveil the extraordinary within the ordinary.
